Green Dal
No need to go to House of Curries - make your own! All you need is lentils, water, and spices. Pretty easy right?!
I call it green dal because I used green lentils. Throw in however much you wanna eat into a pot and add enough water to bring the water above the lentils about an inch. Add more if needed. Bring the water to a simmer and add whatever spices you’d want it to taste like, but here’s my spice list:
garam masala
yellow curry powder
mustard seed
cayenne pepper
garlic
onion
salt
pepper
Simmer for 15 minutes or longer till the lentils are soft. It’s probably one of the easiest grains you can make!
