Carnitas Breakdown
I made carnitas again tonight with much better results. A basic dry rub recipe consists of: paprika garlic powder brown sugar cumin salt But, I found that using Lowry’s seasoning salt (which has all of that except brown sugar) worked just as well. Perfect amount of saltiness! Brown all sides in a hot pan, and then throw it into 275 degree oven for at least 3 hours for maximum effect....
